As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, ALDO supports the Green Shield Initiative ‘You Reforest Cyprus’, a project that aims to mitigate the effects of climate change in Cyprus.
With the aim of planting 500,000 trees in the next five years all over Cyprus in cooperation with Public Benefit Organisations, Associations, Foundations, Schools, Municipalities and Communities, ALDO contributes to this effort by planting 3000 trees in 2024.
With environmental awareness in mind, ALDO will plant a tree with every purchase over 90 euros from any of its six stores in Cyprus. Through this initiative, ALDO supports the Green Shield and the ‘You Reforest Cyprus’ programme, helping to achieve their goals and reduce carbon dioxide emissions from various human activities. With every tree planted, ALDO supports environmental protection, which is essential for a sustainable economy and an equitable society, giving hope and supporting the future of the next generation.
