«Children on the move are children first”, European Network of Ombudspersons for Children
An activity targeting on raising awareness regarding the rights of the children – asylum seekers, is organized by the Commissioner for Children’s Rights, on Friday, 18th November 2016, from 16:00 to 19:00 at The Mall of Cyprus. Your children will have the opportunity to participate in various activities specially designed for them by the Art Group of the Teachers’ Association of Nicosia. Furthermore, they will see on spot dimensional artwork prepared by students of Lefkara Gymnasium and 2nd Regional School of Nicosia. The event is organized within the context of the activities of the Office of the Cyprus Commissioner for Children´s Rights for the 27th anniversary of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. Join us for a memorable event where children will learn through creational activities. The safeguarding of all children’s rights should be a personal commitment that lies on the shoulder of every one of us, rather a matter of charity!
