The Health Committee of the 8th Youth House of Representatives, a programme delivered in collaboration with the Cyprus Youth Council and Cyprus Youth DiplomaCY, is organising the all-day event “A Healthy Mind in a Healthy Body: Prevention in Practice”.
The event aims to inform and raise awareness among the public about the importance of prevention and of caring for both physical and mental health through an engaging and accessible experience.
During the event, the Minister of Health, Mr Neophytos Charalambides, will deliver a brief address.
The following organisations will be participating:
- Cyprus Medical Students’ Association
- Pancyprian Association of Physical Education and Sports Science Graduates
- AIDS Solidarity Movement
- Cyprus Anti-Cancer Society, with Fotini Pallikaridou
- PASYKAF
Representatives from each organisation will be available throughout the event to provide useful information about their work and respective areas of activity.
