20 hippos “came” to Cyprus to be adopted through “Let’s Hippo”, one of the most sensitive social projects that have been organized in Cyprus. Twenty hippos – works of art, have been created gratis by well-known Cypriot artists, inspired by the Sophia for Children handcraft hippos made in Kenya with lots of love. Each artist created a hippo giving them their personal touch and signature. These are adopted by hipposupporter companies by each offering the amount of 5000e. All proceeds go in support of the program “I cook and I offer” for the children in Cyprus. The hippos will be exhibited at The Mall of Cyprus from 2 – 12 of July so that people can get to know them and take a photo with them supporting the Sophia for Children. For each different selfie, uploaded to www.letshippotogether.com/selfie , the advertising agency Partners Y&R offers €5 for the adoption of the 21st hippo, which is digital, aiming to raise the additional amount of €5000, which will be given to Sophia for Children.
