September 29th has been established as “World Heart Day”. The purpose of this day is to raise awareness among society and to educate about prevention and management of cardiovascular disease. The Cyprus Medical Students’ Association having the slogan “My heart. My responsibility.” takes action in order to share the word and promote healthy living as a mean to combat cardiovascular disease. Let’s not forget that beating cardiovascular disease is something that matters to every beating heart.
