Location: Mall of Engomi
Mall of Engomi is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Operations Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional with a proven track record in operations and facilities management, ready to take responsibility for the seamless daily running of a leading retail destination. While primarily based at Mall of Engomi, the role also involves regular day-to-day interaction and collaboration with the Mall of Cyprus and reports directly to the company’s Senior Operations Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee and ensure the proper operation of all electrical and mechanical installations (including elevators, escalators, generators, chillers, fans, lighting, shading systems, irrigation, gas installations, parking systems, CCTV, fire detection, etc.).
• Supervise cleanliness, maintenance, and presentation of all internal and external areas, ensuring the highest standards are met.
• Monitor landscaping and irrigation systems, ensuring their proper upkeep.
• Ensure security coverage, dress code, and emergency route accessibility are consistently maintained.
• Oversee waste management and disposal operations.
• Manage relationships and performance of service providers and contractors, ensuring compliance with schedules and standards.
• Monitor construction and renovation activities to ensure compliance with technical guidelines, operational rules, and local legislation.
• Oversee utility consumption and cost efficiency using all available tools and reports.
• Prepare and deliver operational and technical reports as required.
• Support marketing and events teams with operational requirements for activities, decorations, and seasonal campaigns.
• Identify and act on Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) issues.
• Maintain ongoing communication with tenants and address operational matters promptly.
• Act as ‘Duty Manager’ when required.
Qualifications:
• An engineering background will be considered as advantage.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a related position, property / facilities management.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance, and operational best practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with engineering/design software (e.g., AutoCAD).
• Legal right to live and work in Cyprus.
• Fluency in Greek and English is mandatory.
