Come in cosplay, bring your friends and enjoy a unique celebration of Japanese pop culture at Mall of Cyprus.

Get ready for a full-day Japanese pop culture festival taking over Mall of Cyprus on Saturday 16 May, from 12:00 until midnight, with the nominal support of the Embassy of Japan in Cyprus.

The event will take place at the open-air upper floor parking area of Mall of Cyprus, and promises a full day of live entertainment, Japanese-inspired experiences, food and drink, cosplay, games and much more.

Visitors will have the chance to explore 40+ artist popups, themed traders and community booths, enjoy live J-music, DJ sets and dance performances, and take part in a variety of activities throughout the day.

Highlights of the festival include the Cosplay Contest, where five winners will share a prize pool of €1,500 in Mall Gift Cards, as well as anime and Japan-themed quests, the Guess the Anime Quiz with Savvas, Tekken 8 free play, karaoke and J-Tunes between live acts, and a kimono-wearing experience with Mayumi.

Guests will also be able to visit a manga lending library sponsored by Book Odyssey, enjoy katsu sandos by Minako’s Kitchen, and discover a selection of Asahi, sake, highballs and Japanese cocktails from the CCC Bar.
