The festive season has officially reached new heights as Mall of Cyprus proudly welcomed visitors to the first days of Rooftop Christmas, a brand-new Christmas destination transforming the Mall’s rooftop into a magical winter experience. From the moment the lights were switched on, the atmosphere has been filled with festive energy, music, laughter, and unforgettable holiday moments for visitors of all ages.
From 12 to 31 December, Rooftop Christmas introduces a fresh and immersive festive experience in Nicosia, combining seasonal décor, live entertainment, creative activities, and a carefully curated festive marketplace—all with free entrance and free entertainment.
A Festive Experience Above the City
During the opening days, visitors explored a beautifully transformed rooftop space featuring sparkling lights, themed installations, and cosy festive corners perfect for photos and family moments. The Christmas Market brings together food, retail, and experiential booths, creating a vibrant setting that feels both welcoming and exciting from late afternoon until night.
The rooftop operates daily from 16:00 to 23:00, offering a lively after-work and evening destination, while 24 & 31 December follow a special festive schedule from 11:00 to 18:00. Rooftop Christmas remains closed on 25 & 26 December, in line with the Mall’s holiday hours.
Live Entertainment & Festive Experiences
The opening days of Rooftop Christmas set the tone for a dynamic entertainment programme running throughout December. Guests enjoyed live music, DJ sets, and magical performances that brought the festive spirit to life, creating a joyful atmosphere across the rooftop.
All entertainment is offered free of charge, reinforcing Mall of Cyprus’ commitment to creating an inclusive festive experience for everyone.
Daily Family Activities
Families visiting during the first days also discovered a rich programme of daily activities designed especially for children. From 16:00 to 20:00, young visitors can take part in creative and interactive experiences including:
- Elves’ Workshop – hands-on festive crafts
- Mrs. Klaus’ Kitchen – a playful, culinary-inspired activity space
- Santa’s Post Office – where children can write and send their letters to Santa
These activities transform Rooftop Christmas into a space where creativity, imagination, and festive traditions come together.
A Curated Festive Marketplace
Rooftop Christmas also features a diverse festive marketplace, bringing together a mix of food concepts, retail brands, and experiential vendors. From sweet treats and street food flavours to gifts, decorations, and interactive concepts, the marketplace offers something for every visitor.
A special presence is dedicated to Mikroi Iroes, a respected non-profit organisation supporting children with serious illnesses and their families. Their participation highlights the Mall’s ongoing commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility and community support during the festive season.
