Feeling a sense of responsibility towards the local communities affected by the recent devastating fires in Limassol, Mall of Cyprus and Mall of Engomi stand by those affected, offering help to those who need it most.
In a spirit of solidarity, financial support for those affected has been announced:
- €10,000 from Mall of Cyprus
- €10,000 from Mall of Cyprus tenants
- €5,000 from Mall of Engomi
- €5,000 from Mall of Engomi tenants
The total amount of €30,000 is a first, substantial effort to support the people and communities that have been affected.
At the same time, recognizing the serious impact on local businesses in the affected areas, the two shopping centers have decided to provide free promotional space one weekend each month to businesses that have been affected. The aim is to give them the opportunity to promote and boost their economic activity through events, sales, and exposure to the wider public in Nicosia and throughout Cyprus.

Finally, we announce that on September 6 and 7, the Pan-Cyprian Volunteerism Coodinative Council (PVCC) is organizing, in collaboration with the Mall of Cyprus, an event to support the PVCC’s licensed fundraiser for fire victims (conducted under Article 2 of the Fundraising Law/2014) with the support of various partners, organizations, and other bodies such as Innovation Leo Burnett, Kiss FM, Landas, Mix FM, and The House of Fairytales. The event will take place from 12:00 to 19:00 on both days. Our visitors will have the opportunity to contribute financially and actively participate in the overall effort that has been made recently.
