For the second consecutive year, the Learning in Science Group (LSG) of the University of Cyprus, in collaboration with The Junior and Senior School and PASCAL Private Greek School Nicosia, is organizing an awareness campaign on Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) on April 7, 2024, at the Mall of Cyprus, from 3pm to 6pm.
The students will act as knowledge multipliers to raise awareness about this critical issue through various creative activities they have designed for both children and adults, such as experiments and board games, collaboration with experts from the Medical School of the University of Nicosia, the CP. Foodlab, the Innovative STS (Science, Society, Technology) Education Research Center (InSSTER), the Federation of Patient Organizations of Cyprus, the Cyprus Epidemiology and Public Health Association (CyEPHA), and the Infection Control Nursing Branch of the Cyprus Nurses and Midwives Association.
The awareness campaign is supported by the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Education, Sport and Youth in collaboration with the Secondary General Education Biology Inspection.
