The Information Desk Attendant at the Mall of Cyprus plays a pivotal role in enhancing the shopping experience for our customers. As the face of the mall, you will provide outstanding customer service by offering assistance, information, and a warm welcome to all visitors. We are seeking a candidate with exceptional communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and a passion for ensuring a positive experience for our visitors.
- Customer Assistance:
- Warmly greet visitors and create a welcoming atmosphere at the information desk.
- Assist customers with inquiries about store locations, mall events, and general mall information.
- Provide clear directions and guidance to help shoppers navigate the Mall of Cyprus.
- Promote Mall Services:
- Promote mall services and amenities, including gift cards, wheelchair rentals, and special mall events.
- Inform customers about current promotions, discounts, and special offers from mall retailers.
- Phone and Email Support:
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to emails promptly and professionally.
- Offer accurate information to remote inquiries and address customer concerns effectively.
- Lost and Found:
- Manage the lost and found process, including cataloging lost items and assisting customers in reclaiming lost property.
- Safety and Security:
- Stay informed about mall security procedures and promptly report any suspicious activities or safety concerns.
- Provide assistance during emergency situations as directed by mall management.
- Information Desk Maintenance:
- Maintain a tidy and organized information desk area.
- Ensure that informational materials are well-stocked and easily accessible to customers.
- Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with mall management, security personnel, and other departments to effectively address customer needs and concerns.
- Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous customer service experience is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with the layout of the Mall of Cyprus and its stores is a plus.
- Ability to remain composed and calm under pressure.
- Basic computer skills for email and data entry.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
